Emerging infectious diseases and antibiotic resistance impose major threats to animals humans throughout the world. The Emergence of various pandemic alarms need for prophylactic therapeutic regimens in protecting both humans. Hence, researchers are trying identify newer methodologies overcome existing issues better immune response resistance. In this view, chicken immunoglobulin Y (IgY) has gained momentum due its role prophylactic, diagnostic modalities with varying success rate. an unpredictable contagious COVID-19 like situations, passive immunization through turned be important controlling disease transmission. This review focus on immunoprophylactic immunotherapeutic IgY human animal explore use veterinary medicine.
